Sammy Obeid

Sammy Obeid is playing two nights at Hyena's Comedy Nightclub in Dallas: Monday, October 12, at 6:30 PM and Wednesday, October 14, at 7:30 PM. Both shows are stand-up, with Obeid as the main feature.

Hyena's is a name that's been around the Dallas comedy scene for a long time. They've been booking stand-up for more than 30 years, with rooms in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Albuquerque, and they've built a following as a staple of the national circuit. Over those decades, names like Jim Jefferies, Ralph Barbosa, Tom Segura, and Marlon Wayans have crossed their stage. The Dallas room on Mockingbird Lane bills itself as the area's home for stand-up, and it's a place that's seen a lot of different comics come and go.

Before you head out, there are a few house rules to keep in mind. The shows are for ages 18 and up with a valid ID, so make sure you've got yours on you. There's a two-item minimum purchase per person in the showroom, and a 15% gratuity is added to all showroom checks. Also, no photography or video is allowed during the performance, so you'll have to leave the phone in your pocket and just watch the show.

If you're planning to go, you've got two options to choose from: Monday, October 12, at 6:30 PM or Wednesday, October 14, at 7:30 PM. Both are at Hyena's Comedy Nightclub, 5321 E Mockingbird Ln, Dallas, TX 75206.
