Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright performs live at The Texas Theatre as part of his Fall 2026 solo tour.
Rufus Wainwright plays The Texas Theatre on Saturday, November 14, as part of his Fall 2026 solo tour. It's a solo date, so it'll be just him up there.
If you're not familiar with him, Wainwright is a Canadian-American singer, songwriter, and composer with eleven studio albums behind him. He's also written two classical operas and set Shakespeare's sonnets to music for a theatre piece by Robert Wilson. He was born in Montreal to folk singers Loudon Wainwright III and Kate McGarrigle, and his sister is Martha Wainwright. He's a Grammy nominee, and Elton John once called him "the greatest songwriter on the planet," while the New York Times praised his "genuine originality."

Across rock, opera, and theatre, he's carved out a sound of his own. This Dallas date is one stop on his solo tour this fall, so you'll get him without the full band. The show starts at 8 PM, with doors opening at 7 PM.
