New York Times journalists Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan discuss President Trump's first year back in office in a conversation based on their book 'Regime Change'.
Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan are coming to the Wyly Theatre at the AT&T Performing Arts Center on Monday, October 12, for a conversation about their new book, Regime Change. Both are New York Times reporters, and the book draws on hundreds of interviews from inside the administration to look at how presidential decision-making has shaped U.S. foreign policy during Donald Trump's first year back in office.
That first year is where the book focuses. It covers a new military engagement in the Middle East, how markets have reacted to major policy shifts, and how allies and adversaries abroad are reading this second term. The conversation leans on that deep, sourced access to unpack the people, politics, and power at play, and how American power is being exercised and perceived on the world stage. The evening is presented by the AT&T Performing Arts Center and the World Affairs Council of DFW.
