An improvisational theatre show performed at the Dallas Comedy Club.
Primetime Friday Night Improv is back at the Dallas Comedy Club on Friday, October 16. It's a theatrical improv show, which means nothing is scripted and the whole thing is made up on the spot. If you've never seen improv, that's the core of it: the performers build scenes, characters, and stories in real time, usually taking suggestions from the audience to get things moving. Since it's all improvised, no two shows are ever the same.
The show runs at The Club Theatre, which is part of the Dallas Comedy Club complex in Dallas. It's a dedicated comedy space, so you're in a room built for this kind of thing rather than a multipurpose hall. The improv format keeps things moving, and because the scenes are built from the ground up, the energy tends to shift quickly from one moment to the next.

If you're planning to go, the show starts at 8:30 PM. It's a Friday night, so it's a good one to build a whole evening around—dinner beforehand, the show, and then whatever else the city has going on late. You can find tickets and more details on the Dallas Comedy Club's official site, dallas-comedyclub.com.
