Stand-up comedy night with some of Dallas' best comedians, hosted by Cain.
Live From Deep Ellum! returns to the Dallas Comedy Club on Friday, October 9, with Cain hosting a night of stand-up featuring some of Dallas' best comedians. It's one of those regular showcases that pulls from the city's own circuit rather than bringing in a touring headliner, so you're getting a snapshot of what's actually working in the local scene right now.
Andrew Packer is on the bill, scheduled for 7:30 PM. The show itself runs in the Club Theater, with doors opening at 6:30 PM and the first act taking the stage at 7:00 PM. If you're planning to grab a drink or a bite before the comedy starts, that half-hour window gives you plenty of room to settle in.
To get a sense of the room, the Dallas Comedy Club keeps a dense calendar that mixes stand-up, improv, and storytelling. Their regular programming includes the Purvis Wilson 'Funniest Stand-up in Dallas' competition, which runs through qualifiers, semifinals, and championships, alongside Level 1-5 long form and short form improv grad shows, the DCC Open Mic, and the DCC Storytelling Club. They also host stand-up showcases like 'The Brown Out' and 'Cuffed Up: A Comedy Show For Lovers.'

Because it's a local showcase, the lineup can shift, but the format stays the same: a string of sets from Dallas comedians, hosted by Cain. Doors open at 6:30 PM, the show starts at 7:00 PM, and Andrew Packer is on at 7:30 PM.
