Stand-up show by veteran comedian Carlos Mencia at The Addison Improv.
Carlos Mencia is performing at The Addison Improv on Saturday, October 17, 2026. It's a stand-up comedy show, and he's the only name on the bill.
If you're not familiar with his background, Mencia started on amateur night at the Laugh Factory and worked his way up to a nightly regular at The Comedy Store. He built his name on the L.A. comedy circuit before winning "International Comedy Grand Champion" on Buscando Estrellas, the Latino version of Star Search. That win opened doors to appearances on In Living Color, The Arsenio Hall Show, Moesha, and An Evening at the Improv.
His style is observational humor delivered with a direct approach that often touches on cultural topics and personal experiences. He's described as a veteran comedian who delivers a full set, so you're getting a complete show rather than a short spot. If you've seen him before, that's the same observational, culture-focused comedy you'd expect.
