Hyena's presents Pat O'Neill

Pat O'Neill is playing Hyena's Comedy Nightclub in Dallas on Friday, October 9, and Saturday, October 10. If you've been following the comedy scene lately, you've probably seen his name pop up—he's a fast-rising stand-up who's become a weekly regular on the podcast and live show Kill Tony, where he's now the show's standard closing act. He also performs regularly at the Comedy Mothership, so this is a good chance to catch him in a room closer to home.

O'Neill is known for sharp joke-writing and a distinctive observational perspective, the kind of set that relies on a specific way of looking at things rather than just leaning on the loudest laugh in the room. If you've only seen him in clips from Kill Tony, this is a full stand-up set, not a guest spot.

Hyena's is a name that's been around the Texas comedy circuit for a while. They've got rooms in Fort Worth, Dallas, and Albuquerque, and they've been booking stand-up for over 30 years. Over that time, they've hosted names like Jim Jefferies, Ralph Barbosa, Tom Segura, and Marlon Wayans. The Mockingbird Lane room bills itself as the area's home for stand-up, and it's where you'll find O'Neill this weekend.

There are two shows to choose from: Friday, October 9, at 8 PM and Saturday, October 10, at 10 PM. Both are at Hyena's Comedy Nightclub, 5321 East Mockingbird Ln, Dallas, TX 75206.
