Bombshell Dance Project presents its intimate new work, Here Nor There, a fast-paced, highly physical exploration of the chaos of the mind, at the Kitchen Dog Theater.
Bombshell Dance Project brings its new work, Here Nor There, to the AT&T Performing Arts Center on Friday, October 16, at 8 PM. The piece is staged at the Kitchen Dog Theater, one of the center's smaller spaces, and the company is leaning into that: they describe it as an intimate production and invite audiences to experience the dance up close and personal.
As for what it is, the company calls Here Nor There a fast-paced, highly physical dive into the chaos of our minds. It's a new work, not a revival, and the physical side of itโthe movement and the energyโis where the focus sits. The text is by Mac Welch, and the piece was created by Emily Bernet and Taylor Rodman.
Because it's in the Kitchen Dog Theater, you're not watching from the back of a big hall. The smaller room puts you right on top of the action, which fits the way they're talking about the show. If you've seen dance in larger venues and preferred being closer to the performers, this is exactly that kind of setup.
