Country music concert by Greg Freeman at Dada Dallas, with support from Touch Girl Apple Blossom.
Greg Freeman plays Dada Dallas on Wednesday, November 11, with Touch Girl Apple Blossom opening. It's a mid-week show, so it's one of those nights that works if you're in the city and looking for something that doesn't require a whole weekend commitment.
Freeman is a Maryland-born, Vermont-based musician who works across indie rock and alternative country. If you're not familiar, his sound sits right at the crossroads of those two: energetic indie rock mixed with an ambling twang. He's known for evocative lyricism, fractured vocals, and character-driven tales—the kind of songs that build a scene around a specific person rather than just singing about a mood. He's got two acclaimed albums under his belt, I Looked Out from 2022 and Burnover from 2025, both of which have been praised for their emotional catharsis.
Between those two records, you'll find the range he's working with. I Looked Out set the stage, and Burnover arrived a few years later, so there's enough material to pull from for a full set. The indie rock side brings the energy, and the alt-country side brings the twang, and the two usually run together rather than taking turns.
