Free improvised comedy show featuring the troupes Coworkers and Rodeo Child at the Dallas Comedy Club.
Coworkers and Rodeo Child are playing the Dallas Comedy Club on Thursday, October 15. It's a free improv show presented by the club, and it brings together two different formats in one night.
Coworkers is an improvised workplace sitcom that first launched in 2017. The cast consists of Ana, Tina, Kevin, Dalton, and Marco, and the premise is as straightforward as it sounds: they build a whole episode of an office-based comedy on the fly. The audience provides the title of the night's episode, and from there they run with it. Since it's been around since 2017, it's a format they've had years to work through, and the title you give them is what sets the whole thing in motion.
Sharing the bill is Rodeo Child, an improvised show built around the ties that bind. While Coworkers sticks to the office setting, Rodeo Child works from a different starting point, so you get two distinct approaches to improv in one sitting. Between the two, you'll see a full cast of performers making it up as they go.
