Interactive murder mystery dinner show where guests solve a crime while dining, with a professional cast hidden among the audience.
Dinner Detective is bringing its murder mystery dinner show to the Lorenzo Hotel in Dallas, with the first performance on Saturday, October 10. It's not your typical dinner theater: there's no stage, no costumes, and no specific time period. The story is set in the present day and plays out in real time, and the professional cast blends right into the audience, dressed just like everyone else. That's the hook—the killer is already in the room, and since the performers are hidden in plain sight, any guest could be part of the action.
During the show, a crime occurs, and the room becomes a crime scene. You'll spend the evening piecing together clues and narrowing down the suspects, and the Top Sleuth who comes closest to solving it walks away with a prize package. The current script is titled Dirty Money, and the whole thing is geared toward adults, so expect some mild content, loud noises, and adult humor.
Your ticket covers more than just the mystery. Each admission includes a multi-course plated dinner, wait staff gratuity, the full interactive show, and that prize package for the Top Sleuth. It's a full evening—dinner and a show in one—so you don't have to worry about coordinating a meal around it.

General admission tickets start at $71.99 per person, which doesn't include local taxes, fees, or the optional performer gratuity. You'll find the show at the Lorenzo Hotel Dallas, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, 1011 S Akard St, Dallas, TX 75215.
