Stand-up comedy night with Emmy-nominated writer Rosebud Baker, who wrote for Saturday Night Live.
Rosebud Baker is playing the Dallas Comedy Club on Friday, Oct. 16 and Saturday, Oct. 17, with showtimes at 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM both nights. It's a two-night run, so you've got four chances to catch her across the weekend.
If you haven't come across her yet, Baker is a comedian, actor, and Emmy-nominated writer whose work has landed on Netflix, Comedy Central, and HBO. She wrote for Saturday Night Live from 2022 to 2025 and won a WGA Award for her work on Inside Amy Schumer. Variety named her one of the 'Top 10 Comics to Watch,' and Vulture listed her among 'Comedians You Should and Will Know.'
On the stand-up side, her special Whiskey Fists, produced by Bill Burr and All Things Comedy, premiered on YouTube in 2021, and her Netflix special The Mother Lode arrived in February 2025. When she's not on stage, she's been on screen in Life & Beth on Hulu and the horror-comedy film Hell of a Summer. She's based in New York, so this is one of her stops through Texas.
