A pregame party with live music, Texas vendors, drinks and a pep rally on the eve of the Texas-OU game. All ages and free to the public.
Bash Before the Clash takes over Klyde Warren Park on Friday, October 9, from 6 PM to 10 PM, the night before the Texas-OU Red River Rivalry. It's the Dallas Texas Exes' pregame party, aimed at alumni and Horns fans, and it's open to all ages.
The evening is built around live music, Texas-approved vendors, and drinks, with a Texas-sized pep rally that closes the night. The main event is the 9 PM "Beat OU!" Pep Rally, which serves as the finale. Between the music and the rally, there's plenty of room to hang out with other fans and get into the game-day spirit before the actual rivalry kicks off the next day.
General admission is free to the public, though an RSVP is recommended. If you want to upgrade, there are VIP tickets for $75, which get you access to a VIP-only bar and two free drinks. For groups, there are VIP picnic experiences: $400 for four people or $600 for six. Keep in mind that only the VIP tickets come with seating provided; everyone else should bring their own food, blankets, and chairs. All proceeds from the night go to the Dallas Texas Exes Scholarship Fund.
