Exhibition bringing together 22 artists from Art on Main studios; admission is free.
Art on Main opens its Studio Artists Exhibition on Saturday, October 10, bringing together 22 artists who keep their working studios right there in the building. It's a group show that gathers the people who make the place what it is, and it stays on display through October 29.
What makes this one a bit different from a typical gallery show is the lack of a theme. Rather than asking everyone to respond to a single prompt, the exhibition gives each artist the freedom to show work that reflects their own vision and creative journey. When you hang them all together, the pieces start to form their own unexpected relationships—colors echoing from one side of the room to the other, ideas intersecting across the walls. The result is a broad range of artistic practices, styles, and perspectives, all coming from under the same roof.
Because the artists work in the building, the show is a look at the community that lives and breathes there. You'll see work from 22 different creators, each bringing their own approach to the mix. Since there's no unifying theme to hold them together, the variety is the point: you're seeing a cross-section of what's happening inside the studios, rather than a curated response to a single idea.
