Sketch comedy and rock show that pairs sharp sketches with electrifying rock performances, inspired by the movie Scream.
Screamers are playing Shadowbox Live on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 7 PM. It's Halloween night, and the show is billed as a nightmare-fueled sketch comedy and music experience that pairs sharp sketches with electrifying rock performances. The whole thing is framed around the idea that a jumpscare and a punchline are just two sides of the same thrilling coin, so you'll be getting comedy and music woven together rather than one after the other.
Shadowbox Live is presenting the show. They're the home of the nation's largest resident theatre ensemble and a nonprofit that's been a Columbus destination for music, comedy and immersive experiences for nearly four decades. They also give back more than $250,000 annually through education and community programmes, so your ticket goes toward that as well.

As for how you'll watch it, the room is set up with cabaret-style seating sold by the table, so you'll be sitting with your group rather than in rows of theater seats. Food and drink are available before the show and bought separately, which makes it easy to grab a drink and a bite before the performance starts. The show is at 503 S Front St. Ste #260, Columbus, OH 43215, starting at 7 PM on Halloween night.
