Stand-up show by Emmy-winning comedian Michael Kosta on his 'Big Dad Energy Tour' at the Lincoln Theatre.
Michael Kosta brings his Big Dad Energy tour to the Lincoln Theatre on Saturday, November 14, 2026. It's a stand-up comedy show presented by CAPA, and the bill is simple: Kosta on stage for the evening.
You probably know him from The Daily Show on Comedy Central, where he's an Emmy-winning host. He's also in Tracy Morgan's NBC series The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins. Between those, he's a regular on the late-night circuit, with appearances on The Tonight Show, Conan, Seth Meyers, and @midnight. If you want to see his style before the show, his hour-long Comedy Central special Michael Kosta: Detroit. NY. LA. streams on Paramount+ and YouTube.
There's a whole other side to him that doesn't always make the comedy clips. Before he was doing stand-up, Kosta was a professional tennis player. He still keeps a foot in that world: he hosts the podcast Tennis Anyone, contributes to the Tennis Channel, and wrote the memoir Lucky Loser, which charts his path from the court to comedy. That background—the transition from pro sports to the stage—is a good piece of context to have in mind before you go.
