Free admission outdoor film series at the U.S. National Whitewater Center, screening outdoor-themed films on Friday evenings.
The Whitewater Film Series is back at the U.S. National Whitewater Center this October, with outdoor-themed films projected in the open air across five Fridays. The screenings all start at 8 PM, and since they're spread out over the whole month, you can catch one or two without having to clear your entire schedule.
This Friday, October 9, the screen shows Ephemeral and K2 Chasing Shadows. If you're planning to make a night of it, that's just one of five dates: October 2 opened the series with Queen Swing and Totally FKT; October 16 brings Alone Across Gola; October 23 features Trango and Of a Lifetime; and October 30 closes things out with Brit Rock VII. Each night pairs a couple of films, so you're getting more than one story per visit.
It's an outdoor series, and the films are all centered on the outdoors, so the whole thing fits the setting. The screenings are held at the U.S. National Whitewater Center, 5000 Whitewater Center Parkway, in Charlotte.
