A weekly series of music and storytelling inspired by the Baroque era, featuring John Lenti and Laura Bohn, with special admission to the Caravaggio exhibition.
John Lenti and Laura Bohn bring the 7th St. Concert Series to The Mint Museum Uptown on Wednesday, October 7, for a night of music and storytelling inspired by the Baroque era. It's part of the Wednesday Night Live series presented by Bank of America, which pairs free admission with live entertainment across the Levine Center for the Arts.
Wednesday Night Live is a weekly thing that runs every Wednesday from 5 to 9 PM, rotating through four venues: The Mint Museum, the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture, and the Knight Theater. The programming changes every week, and it's pretty broad—cultural dance performances, spoken-word artists, film screenings—so the vibe shifts depending on where it lands and who's performing. This particular evening draws its inspiration from the Baroque era, with Lenti and Bohn handling the music and the storytelling.
If you're planning to go, there's a bit more to the night than just the performance. Along with the music, there's special admission to Caravaggio | Revolution, the museum's exhibition on the Baroque master. It's a good fit for the theme of the evening, so you can see the art and hear the music in the same visit.
