A night market featuring local artists, with work on sale and studios open for visitors to explore at the VAPA Center.
The VAPA Center Night Market is back on Saturday, October 10, from 6 to 10 PM. It's part of a monthly series that runs on the second Saturday of each month through December 12, 2026, so if you can't make this one, there are a few more coming before the end of the year.
To get your bearings on the place: the VAPA Center is a non-profit formed in 2021 by ten Charlotte arts organizations to create a home where artists can work, perform, and exhibit. It opened its doors at 700 North Tryon Street in March 2022 and now houses tenant artists whose studios you can explore and whose work is on sale. The Night Market, sponsored by TD Bank, is part of the center's wider tenant-led program, which also includes Open Studios on the first Saturday of each month, Artists Talks, and the VAPA Live monthly concert series. There's also the Encore Room, an intimate performance space that seats up to 300 guests.

If you're driving, there's one detail to keep in mind: parking is free, but the lot entrance is on College Street and the exit is onto Montford Point Street, as there's no access from Tryon Street. The market itself runs from 6 to 10 PM, and admission is free.
