Kids Yoga series for ages 4-10 at Urban District Market; free with pre-registration.
Twist Kids Yoga is back at Urban District Market on Tuesday, November 3, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. It's part of a series they run on school holidays and breaks, so this one lands right when the kids are out of class and looking for something to do. The session is for ages 4 to 10, and it's hosted by Making Space: Mindful Movement and the Twist Kids Foundation.
The class mixes playful yoga, mindfulness, movement, and community connection, so it's less about holding a perfect pose and more about moving and hanging out with other kids. It's designed for that 4-to-10 age range, which means it works for the little ones and the older kids in the same room. The whole thing is run by Making Space: Mindful Movement and the Twist Kids Foundation, two organizations that focus on mindful movement and community.
Spots are limited to 20 children per session, so you'll need to pre-register to save a place. The class itself is free, and while you don't have to pay, optional donations go toward the foundation's free programming and scholarships, which keep these kinds of sessions accessible. If you're planning to bring your kids, it's a good idea to sign up early rather than waiting until the day of.
