A restorative program that invites participants to slow down, reset and connect through sound, weaving together breathwork, guided meditation, gentle movement and live instrumental and vocal sound.
Emmanuel Daniels leads the next session of the Sound Bath Series at Mint Museum Uptown on Tuesday, November 17. It's part of a restorative program the museum runs on the first Tuesday of each month, designed as a midweek way to slow down and reset.
Each session weaves together breathwork, guided meditation, gentle movement, and live instrumental and vocal sound. The goal is to create a soothing environment for relaxation and reflection, and the whole thing takes place in the museum's Atrium, so you get to experience the space in a sensory-rich setting rather than just walking through the galleries. It's a quiet, focused hour and a half that asks you to just be still for a while.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Charlotte and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Since you'll be spending the session on the floor, you're encouraged to bring your own yoga mat, bolster, blanket, or pillow to get comfortable. If that's not your thing, chairs are available for anyone who prefers to sit. The session runs from 7 PM to 8:30 PM, and admission is free.
