A restorative program led by Emmanuel Daniels that combines breathwork, guided meditation, gentle movement and live sound to create a soothing environment for relaxation and reflection.
Emmanuel Daniels leads the next session of the Sound Bath Series at The Mint Museum Uptown on Tuesday, October 20, from 6:45 to 7:45 PM. It's part of a recurring program that runs on the first Tuesday of each month, so if you can't make this one, there's another on the horizon.
As the name suggests, the focus is on sound. Daniels weaves together breathwork, guided meditation, and gentle movement with live instrumental and vocal sound, all designed to create a space for relaxation and reflection. It's a restorative program that invites you to slow down, reset, and connect through sound, and since it's a midweek session, it works as a way to unwind in the middle of the week. The museum describes it as a sensory-rich setting to experience the museum in a different way than you normally would.

Because you'll be spending the hour on the floor, you're encouraged to bring your own yoga mat, bolster, blanket, or pillow to get comfortable. If you don't have any of those, chairs are available on-site. The session runs from 6:45 to 7:45 PM in the Uptown Atrium at The Mint Museum Uptown, and it's free.
