Concert by New York singer-songwriter sombr on his You Are The Reason Tour, with The Last Dinner Party and The Hellp.
sombr plays the Spectrum Center on Tuesday, October 27, as part of his You Are The Reason Tour. He's not coming alone, either: The Last Dinner Party and The Hellp are on the bill, so it's a full night of music rather than just a single set.
If you're not familiar with him, sombr is a 20-year-old New York native who's been called "Gen Z's rockstar heir apparent." He writes all his own songs and co-produces them, having taught himself production while studying classical music and vocal performance at LaGuardia High School. That background in classical training sits right behind the work, and he's kept the writing and production in-house since the start.
2025 was the year he really broke through. His single "back to friends" hit number one on Spotify's Global and U.S. charts, peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100, and became the number one pop song in America. That momentum carried into 2026, when he earned a Best New Artist GRAMMY nod and won the MTV VMA for Best Alternative. He's also made the rounds on The Tonight Show, Saturday Night Live, and The Late Late Show.

This tour follows his debut album, I Barely Know Her, which he co-produced with Tony Berg. His headline shows have a habit of drawing surprise guests, with Sam Smith and Laufey both making appearances on previous dates. The Spectrum Center show starts at 7:30 PM, with The Last Dinner Party and The Hellp opening for him.
