Live music performance by Silverada and The Pink Stones at Amos' Southend in Charlotte.
Silverada plays Amos' Southend on Thursday, October 15, with The Pink Stones opening. It's an all-ages show, so you can bring the kids along if that's your speed.
Silverada hails from Austin, Texas, and they describe their sound as music to crank up loud in the truck on a Friday afternoon. That gives you a pretty clear sense of where they're coming from—Texas country with the windows down and the volume turned up. The band is fronted by Mike Harmeier, with Catlin Rutherford on guitar, Omar Oyoque on bass, Parker Twomey on keys, and Taylor Englert on drums. With a full five-piece on stage, there's plenty of room for the sound to fill out, and the keys add a layer that keeps it from leaning too hard into a standard bar-band feel.
If you're planning to make a night of it, there's a bit of a perk for buying in advance: an advance ticket gets you a 20% discount on dinner at The Gin Mill before the band takes the stage. It's a good excuse to get there early and eat before the music starts.
