Second Saturdays in SouthPark Market returns to Legion Brewing SouthPark on Saturday, October 10, as part of its monthly run through the fall. It's an open-air market presented by Shop Local QC, held on the green right beside the brewery at 5622 Carnegie Blvd in Charlotte. If you've been around for a few of them, you know the drill: it's an outdoor setup on the grass, so it's as much about hanging out as it is about shopping.

Each edition brings together around 30 small shops and makers. The mix changes every month, with a good chunk of returning favorites and a handful of new vendors joining the rotation, so it's worth a look even if you've stopped by before. You'll find a variety of local makers and small businesses setting up shop on the lawn, each with their own table of whatever they're making.

This is one of several dates in the series. The market runs on the second Saturday of each month from April through November, with the October 10 date sitting between September 12 and November 14. It's a recurring thing, so if you miss this one, there's another coming up a few weeks later.

Entry is free, and it runs from 11 AM to 4 PM, which gives you plenty of time to wander through the stalls without having to rush. The whole thing is out on the green beside Legion Brewing SouthPark, so you can grab a drink and take your time.
