Rev & Roll Charity Concert

Camel City Yacht Club is playing the Charlotte Convention Center on Wednesday, November 18, for the Rev & Roll Charity Concert. It's a yacht rock set, so you'll get that smooth, mid-tempo sound throughout the night. The band is the main musical draw, and they'll be performing live while the room fills up around them.

There's a bit more to this than just the music. The concert doubles as an exclusive first look at the Charlotte Auto Show before it opens to the general public. Your ticket gets you early access to the show floor, so you can walk through the latest vehicles and models on your own time. Between the cars, there's entertainment and raffle opportunities running throughout the evening, and the whole thing is for ages 21 and over.

The money raised goes to a group of local nonprofits: Roof Above, Nourish Up, the Salvation Army, the YMCA of Greater Charlotte, Communities In Schools Charlotte-Mecklenburg, and the Isabella Santos Foundation. It's one of those nights where the ticket price actually does some work for the city.

General admission is $50, which includes that show floor access. The concert runs from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the Charlotte Convention Center, 501 South College Street. Parking is paid, and refunds are available up to seven days before the show.
