Chamber music with Mozart, Holst, and Haydn at Triple C Brewing Company, part of the Charlotte Symphony's On Tap series.
The Charlotte Symphony Orchestra is bringing its On Tap series to Triple C Brewing Company on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. The program features Mozart, Holst, and Haydn, played as chamber music rather than a full orchestral set. It's a stripped-back version of the symphony, with a handful of musicians instead of the whole ensemble, which changes the whole feel of the music.
On Tap is one of the symphony's most popular offerings, and the name fits the format: it's a more intimate orchestral experience that brings classical and contemporary works by a diverse range of composers into the laid-back setting of a neighborhood brewery. The music is paired with craft beer and kombucha, so you can have a drink in hand while you listen. It's part of the orchestra's Community Events program, which takes the symphony out of the concert hall and into the city's breweries.
This particular night focuses on three heavyweights of the classical repertoire. Mozart, Holst, and Haydn are all represented, and because it's chamber music, you'll hear the individual parts and the conversation between the instruments more clearly than you would in a full hall. It's a good way to hear these composers in a setting that doesn't feel like a formal concert.
