Electronic music producer NGHTMRE performs a high-intensity set at Blackbox as part of the 'BEFORE XMAS: CHARLOTTE' show.
NGHTMRE is playing Blackbox on Saturday, December 26, 2026, as part of the BEFORE XMAS: CHARLOTTE show. It's a single-artist bill, so he's the only name on the lineup, taking over the decks for a high-intensity set. The date puts it right between Christmas and New Year's, a time when most of the city is still in holiday mode.
He's billing this as a darker holiday energy, and the title BEFORE XMAS fits that. Instead of the usual festive cheer, the set leans into the heavier side of his sound. He sums it up in four words: "Beats and bad dreams." It's a good shorthand for what to expect—hard-hitting beats and a mood that's more nightmare than Noel. If you're looking for a night that trades the holiday spirit for a high-energy dance floor, this is that.
