Music on the Green at Promenade on Providence

Music on the Green is back at Promenade on Providence in South Charlotte, running every Friday and Saturday from September 4 through October 30, 2026. It's an outdoor live music series held on the green at the shopping center, and it keeps going right through the autumn months. The stage is set for local bands, and the whole thing wraps up on October 30.

If you've been following the lineup, you've seen a few names cross the bill. Son Del Sur played on September 18, and Matthew Alban took the stage on September 26. The season closes with Caution! Blind Driver on October 30, the final date of the series. The organizers do note that lineups are subject to change without advance notice, so it's worth keeping an eye on the schedule if you're planning around a specific act.

Each show runs from 5:30 to 8:30 PM, so you've got three hours of music to work with. Since it's an outdoor series on the green, it's the kind of thing that works as a standalone evening or as a way to spend a Friday or Saturday afternoon when the weather is holding.
