Country music concert by John Morgan, a GRAMMY-nominated artist known for writing hits for Jason Aldean and performing on the Grand Ole Opry.
John Morgan plays Amos' Southend on Friday, November 20, at 7 PM. He's a North Carolina country artist who grew up playing bluegrass festivals in his family band, and he's coming home to Charlotte for the night.
For a long time, you've likely heard his work without knowing his name. Morgan is a six-time #1 hitmaking songwriter who has written 16 songs for Jason Aldean, including the #1 hits "How Far Does A Goodbye Go," "Trouble With A Heartbreak," "Whiskey Drink," and "Don't Tell On Me." He also co-wrote the GRAMMY-nominated "If I Didn't Love You," which Aldean recorded with Carrie Underwood, and has written for Jon Pardi, Dustin Lynch, and Thomas Rhett.
He's recently stepped out from behind the scenes. His debut single, "Friends Like That," featuring Jason Aldean, hit #1 at country radio—his fourth #1 as a songwriter and his first as an artist—and won the CMA Triple Play Award. That single is part of his debut album, Carolina Blue, which also features the rising track "Kid Myself."

He's no stranger to the bigger stages, either. He's played the Grand Ole Opry and toured with Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Riley Green, and ERNEST, and he's heading out on Brantley Gilbert's Real American Tour. The Charlotte show is on Friday, November 20, at Amos' Southend, 1423 S Tryon St, starting at 7 PM.
