Indie on Wheels: Pops & Popcorn

Indie on Wheels: Pops & Popcorn comes to the University City Regional Library on Saturday, October 10. It's a screening of independent film, and the title gives away the two things that make it a movie night: indie cinema and popcorn. The screening is part of the Wheels series, which brings independent film to the library.

If you're not familiar with the venue, the University City Regional Library is at 5528 Waters Edge Village Drive in Charlotte. It's a public library, so this is one of those events that turns a familiar community space into a temporary cinema for the evening. The popcorn is provided, and the focus is on independent film, which usually means something you won't find at the multiplex.

It's free to attend, but you do need to register in advance to get a spot. If you're planning to go, it's worth signing up early rather than waiting until the day of. The screening is on Saturday, October 10, at the University City Regional Library.
