Melodic death metal band In Flames perform live at The Fillmore Charlotte as part of Trivium's Crown In The Grave World Tour.
In Flames are playing The Fillmore Charlotte on Saturday, December 19, 2026, as part of Trivium's Crown In The Grave World Tour. The show starts at 7 PM, and the venue is at 820 Hamilton Street in Charlotte.
If you're not familiar with them, In Flames formed in Gothenburg, Sweden, back in 1990. They're widely regarded as one of the forefathers of melodic death metal, a sound that blends the aggression of death metal with the melodic sensibilities of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Over the course of twelve studio albums, they've moved through several phases of that sound, starting with their 1994 debut Lunar Strain and continuing through to 2016's Battles. Along the way, they've sold millions of records and built a global following that calls itself the Jesterheads, who live by the phrase "In Flames We Trust."
The lineup for the night features Chris Broderick, Björn Gelotte, Anders Fridén, Liam Wilson, and Jon Rice. The Charlotte date is one stop on the Crown In The Grave World Tour, which is being led by Trivium.
