An award-winning improv comedy performance by the cast of CCT, where the audience helps co-create the comedy on the fly.
The cast of CCT is running an improv comedy show at the VAPA Center throughout October, with performances every Saturday night at 8 PM. The dates are October 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30, so you've got five chances to catch them over the course of the month. The VAPA Center is at 700 N. Tryon St in Charlotte.
If you've never seen them, here's how it works: the show is billed as an award-winning production, and the cast changes the combination of players for every single performance. That means no two nights are the same. The comedy is built on the fly, and the audience helps co-create it by throwing out suggestions that the performers build into the scenes as they go. Since everything is made up in the moment, the energy shifts from one show to the next, and what happens on one Saturday won't be the same as what happens on another.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Charlotte and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

It's a 16-and-up show, so it's fine to bring a teenager along. Parking is free, and concessions are allowed, which is a nice detail if you're planning to make a night of it. Tickets start at $25. With the show running every Saturday at 8 PM, you can pick the date that works best for you.
