Line dancing with beginner lessons and open dance at The Barrel Room at Triple C Brewing Co.
Line Dancing with Amanda holds court on Monday nights at The Barrel Room at Triple C, and the evening is split into two distinct halves. From 6 to 7 PM, Amanda leads a beginner line dance lesson, which is where the night starts for anyone who's never stepped foot on a dance floor. You don't need any experience to jump in, and the hour is designed to get you moving without feeling like you're in the way.
Once the lesson wraps at 7 PM, the floor opens up for open dancing until 10 PM. That's when the night shifts from learning to just doing. While line dancing is the main draw, the floor is open to two-stepping and other partner styles, so you can stick to the choreographed steps or bring a partner and switch it up. If you're on your own, you can just keep dancing with the crowd.
The Barrel Room is located at 2832 Griffith Street in South End, and it's a separate space from the Triple C Brewing Company brewery itself, which sits across the street at 2900 Griffith. Triple C runs frequent events out of the Barrel Room, and it also hosts free live music nights, so it's a spot that sees a fair amount of activity throughout the week.

It's a long stretch—four hours total—so you can come for the lesson and head out early, or stick around for the open dancing. Entry is $5, and the whole thing runs from 6 PM to 10 PM on Mondays at The Barrel Room at Triple C.
