Outdoor movie screening of Little Shop of Horrors at Camp North End, with free arcade games and glow sticks.
Crossroads Cinema is screening Little Shop of Horrors at Camp North End on Friday, October 16, starting at 8 PM. It's part of the free outdoor movie series presented by Camp North End and Aurora Star Lit Cinema, with the Historic Ford Building as the backdrop. The film plays on a jumbo screen with surround sound, so you'll hear the music as well as see the plant.
There's more to the night than just the movie. Before and after the screening, there's free play on retro arcade games, and they hand out free glow sticks and ring pops. It's the kind of setup that works for a group — you can hang out at the arcade games while you wait for the movie to start, and then stick around afterward.
Since it's outdoors, you'll want to bring your own chairs. Parking is free, and food and drink are available from the businesses at Camp North End, so you can grab something to eat and drink before you settle in. One thing to keep in mind: if the weather turns, the screening is cancelled.
