Free outdoor movie screening of Hocus Pocus on a jumbo screen at Camp North End, with retro arcade games and glow sticks.
Camp North End is screening Hocus Pocus on Thursday, October 29, as part of its Crossroads Cinema outdoor movie series. It's a free showing on a jumbo screen with surround sound, set against the backdrop of the Historic Ford Building. The series runs on Thursday nights through the autumn, so if you're already in the habit of heading to the camp on Thursdays, this is just the next one in the rotation.
There's more to it than just the movie. Crossroads Cinema adds a few extras to the night: free play on retro arcade games and free glow sticks and ring pops while supplies last. It's a low-key setup—you bring your own chairs, parking is free, and food and drinks come from the local vendors around Camp North End. If the weather turns, the screening is cancelled, so it's worth checking the forecast before you head out.
