Colorblind (TX)

Colorblind (TX) play The Underground on Tuesday, November 10, with Catch Your Breath, TX2, and ARANKAI opening. It's a four-band bill, so the night starts early and stays late.

Colorblind is a rock band from Austin, Texas, and they've spent their time working across alternative rock, post-hardcore, and pop rock. That's a wide enough spread that you'll hear a few different moods in one set—the heavier, driving side of post-hardcore sitting alongside the more melodic, hooky end of pop rock. It's the kind of sound that fits in a few different places at once, and they're bringing it to Charlotte from Austin.

They're touring their new album, WHO SOLD YOU THIS TRUTH ++ WAS IT YOURS TO HOLD, which came out on August 28. Since it's still fresh, the set will lean on the new material, and you'll hear it live for the first time if you've only had it on record. The album's title is as long as the songs are loud, and the show is built around it.

Catch Your Breath, TX2, and ARANKAI open the night, so there's plenty to hear before Colorblind takes the stage. The whole thing is at The Underground, 820 Hamilton St, Charlotte, NC, and it kicks off at 6 PM.
