Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Community Book Sale

Charlotte Mecklenburg Library is holding a community book sale at the South County Regional Library on Saturday, December 12, from 9 AM to 1 PM. It's one of the many sales they run throughout the year, so if you've missed the others, this is a good chance to catch one.

The tables will be stocked with fiction, non-fiction, and children's materials—new and gently used—which makes it a decent spot to pick up a few things for yourself or some early holiday gifts. Some of these sales lean into specific themes, like 'Back to School,' 'African American,' or 'Science fiction, fantasy, manga and graphic novels,' so it's worth keeping an eye on what they're highlighting.

If you've got a stack of books at home you're ready to part with, the library takes donations. You can drop off one box or bag a day at any Charlotte Mecklenburg Library location, though they ask that you don't leave them outside. It's a simple way to clear some shelf space and keep the books moving through the community.

The sale runs from 9 AM to 1 PM on December 12 at the South County Regional Library, 5801 Rea Road, Charlotte, NC.
