Indie rock and folk concert featuring Jordan Caiola (Caiola) and special guest Bre Kennedy at the Visulite Theatre.
Caiola plays the Visulite Theatre on Friday, November 6, with Nashville singer-songwriter Bre Kennedy opening. The headliner is Jordan Caiola, a Philadelphia songwriter, musician, and producer who records under the name CAI•OLA. He's been working in bands for a while—he started the indie rock group Mo Lowda & The Humble in 2010 and the indie/electro-pop duo NightSeason in 2016—but he's always felt folk songwriting was his true wheelhouse. The nationwide lockdown in early 2020 gave him the time to record his first solo album, Only Real When Shared. He now tours year-round with both Mo Lowda and his solo project.
His second record, This Could Be Everything, came out August 2, 2024. It's a more mature and textural album than the first, and that's the material he's bringing to the stage. The night's other act, Bre Kennedy, is a Nashville singer-songwriter whose work has been praised by Billboard, Paste, and American Songwriter. She's headlined Nashville rooms like Exit/In and The Ryman Auditorium and has collaborated with Lori McKenna.
