Metalcore and deathcore quintet Born of Osiris perform live at The Underground, supported by Miss May I, Convictions and Downswing.
Born of Osiris play The Underground on Wednesday, November 18, as part of their Perpetual Iron Tour. They aren't coming alone: Miss May I, Convictions, and Downswing are all on the bill, so it's a full night of metalcore rather than a single headliner. The show starts at 6 PM.
Born of Osiris are a Chicago quintet that blends metalcore and deathcore, with Ronnie Canizararo on lead vocals, Joe Buras on keys, synths, and vocals, Lee McKinney on guitar, Nick Rossi on bass, and Cameron Losch on drums. They've been around since 2007 and have put out four consecutive Billboard Top 200 albums, including 2019's The Simulation through Sumerian Records. The keys and synths are a big part of their sound, which sets them apart from a lot of the more straightforward metalcore coming out of the same era.
They've also spent time looking back at where they started. In 2017, they toured their 2007 debut, The New Reign, played in its entirety. The current lineup has changed since those early days, too: bassist Nick Rossi joined after original bassist David Da Rocha left. The Charlotte date is one stop on the Perpetual Iron Tour, so you'll get them as part of a larger run rather than a one-off appearance.

With Miss May I, Convictions, and Downswing rounding out the lineup, the night should keep moving. It all goes down at The Underground, 820 Hamilton St, in Charlotte, starting at 6 PM on Wednesday, November 18.
