Weekly board game night held at Hi-Wire Brewing in the South End, with free entry and a relaxed atmosphere.
Hi-Wire Brewing hosts Board Game Night on Thursday, October 8, at 6:30 PM. It's one of their recurring weekly events, so if you miss this one, there's usually another one coming up soon. Entry is free.
The brewery is in the South End at 340 West Tremont Avenue, and it's a big space. There are two separate bars and 20 taps of Hi-Wire beer, plus wine, draft cider, and non-alcoholic options. You're welcome to bring in outside food, and Benny Ferrovia's pizza is right next door if you want to grab a pie and bring it in. The whole place is family- and pet-friendly, so it works as a group outing with kids or dogs in tow.
Beyond the board games, there's plenty to do. The brewery has interactive games like soccer pool, table tennis, foosball, and shuffleboard, with seating for more than 300 people and a large covered patio. Parking is free, which is a nice perk for the South End. If you're looking for more during the week, they also run Trivia Tuesdays from 7 to 9 PM, which is free and run by Mindless Minutia.
