Community gathering with live music and free food at Five Points Plaza, brought by Five Points Community Collaborative.
BBQ & Blues is happening at Five Points Plaza on Saturday, October 10, from 4 to 7 PM. It's a community gathering built around live music, free food, and neighborhood connection in the Historic West End, and the music comes from the Emerald Empire Band.
The whole thing is put on by the Five Points Community Collaborative, which is a partnership between the Biddleville-Smallwood, Seversville, and Wesley Heights neighborhoods. The Knight Foundation is sponsoring it. The name tells you exactly what to expect: BBQ and blues, with the Emerald Empire Band providing the live music throughout the afternoon.
It's a free event for neighbors, and that includes the food, which is served until it runs out. If you're planning to eat, you'll want to get there on the earlier side rather than waiting until the end of the window. The music runs from 4 to 7 PM, so there's plenty of time to hang out and catch the band.
