A monthly outdoor pop-up market featuring local vendors selling hand-crafted items, artisan products, and unique gifts, with live music and an outdoor bar.
Ballantyne Village hosts its next Pop-up Market on Saturday, October 17, from 11 AM to 3 PM. It's part of a monthly series that runs on the third Saturday of the month from June 20 through November 21, so this is one of the last few before the season wraps up.
What sets this one apart from your average craft fair is how strictly it's curated. Everything sold has to be hand-crafted, and every vendor has to be local to the Charlotte metro area. That means you're looking at a selection of handmade goods, artisan products, boutique finds, and unique gifts, all made by people who actually live and work around here. If you're in the market for something that didn't come off a factory line, this is where you'll find it.
It's an outdoor market, so the whole thing happens in the open air at Ballantyne Village. Along with the booths, there's live music and an outdoor bar, and the whole atmosphere is dog-friendly, so you can bring your dog along for the stroll. Parking is free, which is always a plus when you're planning a Saturday morning out.

Admission is free, and the market runs from 11 AM to 3 PM on Saturday, October 17, at Ballantyne Village, 14825 Ballantyne Village Way in Charlotte. If you're planning to go, keep in mind that the pop-up fills fast, so arriving earlier in the window is your best bet.
