Rock, hip-hop and punk night featuring Austin Royale and supporting acts at The Milestone Club, an historic venue in West Charlotte.
Austin Royale plays The Milestone Club on Wednesday, October 14, with a full bill of North Carolina acts. Royale comes from Durham, and he's sharing the stage with fellow North Carolinians INFINXTY and ASLEEPBENEATHTHESOIL, both out of Wilmington. ASLEEPBENEATHTHESOIL is a hardcore act that shares members with Infinxty and Rosary, so there's some overlap between the bands on the bill. Rounding out the night is Ken Mujo—Kenichi Minami of Ken South Rock & Bosco Mujo—who arrives from Harrisonburg, Virginia, by way of Philadelphia, Brooklyn and Tokyo.
The Milestone Club itself is a piece of Southern history. Established in 1969 on Tuckaseegee Road in West Charlotte, it's been a bare-bones landmark for rock, punk, new wave, metal and underground scenes for over half a century. The night is strictly ages 18 and up, and no one gets in without a valid photo ID.
