Ashley Kutcher

Ashley Kutcher plays Coyote Joe's on Friday, October 9, with Lauren Alaina opening the night. Kutcher is a country-pop singer-songwriter from Baltimore, Maryland, and her music blends storytelling with melodies that don't stay inside one genre. She grew up on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, where she spent her early years listening to a wide mix of artists—UB40, Bob Marley, Shania Twain, Tim McGraw, and Jimmy Buffett—and you can hear those influences crossing over in her sound.

She didn't start out intending to be a full-time artist. She was in nursing school when a TikTok comment inspired her to write "Love You From a Distance," a breakup song that went viral and changed her trajectory. Since then, she's amassed over 240 million streams on Spotify and sold out multiple headline tours across the U.S. Her debut album, House on the Water, came out in 2024, followed by the Play Responsibly EP. Her latest release, Back To My Roots & These Roots Run Deep, returns to an acoustic, more country-influenced sound, so the set should pull from across that range.

Lauren Alaina opens the bill, so there are two country-leaning acts on the same stage. The show starts at 7 PM at Coyote Joe's, 4621 Wilkinson Blvd in Charlotte.
