Country music performance by Anna J at Nickyo's Rodeo, with an acoustic set by the venue.
Anna J plays an acoustic set at Nickyo's Rodeo on Wednesday, October 21, with Nickyo's Rodeo joining her on the bill. It's a country night in the South End, and the acoustic format keeps things stripped back.
Anna J is the stage name of Anna Jeanne, a country artist from Frederick, Maryland. She studied songwriting at Belmont University and was mentored by Marcus Hummon, the songwriter behind "Cowboy Take Me Away" and "Bless the Broken Road." Since graduating in 2020, she's split her time between Nashville and Charlotte, building a reputation as a powerhouse performer and independent artist.
Her music has reached an international audience, landing three number-one singles on the aBreak Music station: "Nobody with Nobody," "In Your Heart," and "If You Don't Like Country (Then You Don't Like Me)." She's recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville and played the Bluebird CafƩ and the Randy Travis Music Festival in 2024 and 2025. This acoustic set at Nickyo's Rodeo is her next Charlotte appearance.
