Professor Brian Cox brings his world tour Emergence to Utilita Arena Cardiff for two dates, following his successful Horizons show.
Professor Brian Cox brings his new world tour, Emergence, to Utilita Arena Cardiff on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 November 2026. He's playing two nights in the city, so if you can't make the Thursday, there's the Friday to fall back on.
It's a fresh tour, coming after Horizons, which he took to nearly half a million people across the world. If you've seen that one, this is the next chapter. For those who haven't, it's a good place to start with his live work.
Cox has spent the last 15 years fronting a string of landmark science programmes for BBC radio and television. You'll likely recognise his name from the Peabody Award-winning Wonders of the Solar System and the worldwide hit series The Planets — both of which he presented. Emergence is the live equivalent of that kind of work, bringing the same curiosity and scale to the stage.

One practical thing to keep in mind: under-14s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. With two dates to choose from, you've got a bit of wiggle room to fit it around your week.
