CMCF · Inmotion Immersed

Inmotion Immersed is at the USW SU Bar on Thursday 15 October, from 5pm to 9pm. It's an evening celebrating emerging music talent, brought together by Sound Progression and the University of South Wales as part of the Cardiff Music City Festival.

The bill puts the next generation of musicians coming through Cardiff and Wales on one stage, pairing solo artists with live bands. The confirmed line-up includes The Dhol Starz, Wrenna, Southbound, Four Act Riot, The Malbecs, and Izzy & The Aristocats, with more emerging talent playing alongside them. It's a mix of solo acts and full bands, so you'll hear a fair few different sounds across the night rather than one particular style.

Beyond the performances, the session is set up as a networking event, with refreshments on hand and a chance to connect with students, industry partners, and the wider music community. It's as much about the people in the room as the acts on stage, so if you're working in music or just starting out, there's a good reason to stick around between sets.

The USW SU Bar is at B86-B88 Adam Street, Cardiff CF24 2FN, on the University of South Wales Cardiff Campus. It's free to attend, and the music runs from 5pm to 9pm.
