Manchester indie outfit Westside Cowboy headline show at Electric Bristol, with support from Wyatt.
Westside Cowboy headline Electric Bristol on Friday 4 December, with Wyatt opening the night. It's part of the Manchester four-piece's biggest UK and European tour to date, which brings them to Bristol after stops in Brighton and London, before they head home to Manchester for a hometown show.
If the name doesn't ring a bell, here's the run-up: the band formed in 2023, with Reuben Haycocks, James Bradbury, Aoife Anson O'Connell and Paddy Murphy around the front, and Jack on vocals. They've built their sound on folk and rock, and they describe it as 'Britainicana'βindie rock with an Americana lean. The live shows are where the harmonies come in, with all four members singing. It's a good way to get a feel for what they do: the folk influence in the vocals, the indie rock in the instrumentation.
Things moved fast after they won the Glastonbury Festival's Emerging Talent Competition in 2025. That win landed them a slot on the Woodsies stage, and from there they've put together a string of sold-out headline shows and major festival appearances. This Bristol date is one of the bigger rooms they've played, and it's part of a run that takes them across the UK and over to Europe, with the Manchester show bringing it all back to where they started.
