Psychedelic rock and doom metal gig with The Wytches as support; a standing event.
Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats play Trinity on Tuesday 24 November, with The Wytches supporting. It's a standing show, and the Bristol date is part of a wider tour that also stops in Manchester, Leeds and London.
Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats are an English psychedelic rock and doom metal band, formed in Cambridge back in 2009. They're fronted by guitarist, vocalist and visionary Kevin A. Starrs, who writes the songs and leads the band. Their proto-metal excursions are described as carrying the creeping menace of early doom while adding melody and heady psychedelia around the edges — a sound that sits somewhere between the heavy, slow-burning weight of doom metal and the swirling, trippy textures of psychedelic rock. The Wytches open the night, so you'll get two bands on the bill.

It's a standing event, which means you'll be on your feet for the duration. Doors open at 19:00, and there's a 23:00 curfew, so the music will be wrapped up by then. Tickets are £26.50 in advance plus fees, with a £1 Restoration Levy added to every ticket. If you're planning to go, it's worth keeping the 19:00 doors time in mind so you're not rushing in late.
